    • While not a significant segment of the population, the colony of New Jersey had at least one Polish settlement prior to the American Revolution. The war attracted Polish military personnel such as Casmir Pulaski and Tadeusz Kosciuszko to serve the Continental Army. The Polish people, and later other Slavic countries like Ukraine, brought their holiday traditions with them to America.

      Come join Diane Terry-Kehner for a 2-2.5 hour workshop to create your own Pysanky Egg to celebrate spring. All supplies will be provided. Wax and dyes may not wash out of clothing so please dress appropriately or bring an apron or smock.
